Booking a consultation has never been easier with ConnectMed. You have full control of deciding between a virtual or face-face appointment with one of our amazing doctors.
During the current alert-level, face to face appointments as well as virtual appointments are available to book online.
Please follow the instructions below on how to book your consult and what to do when you arrive to the surgery.
How to book your Consult:
You can book an appointment from the comfort of your own home through connectMed. Choose your registered doctor and your desired time. If you are having issues with online booking please call reception on 09 524 6249 and we can assist you in booking your appointment.
Under the current alert system patients are able to book face-to-face appointments online- you can also ring reception to book this appointment. If you are experiencing the following symptoms you will be directed to the nurse:
Loss of taste or smell
Aches and pains
A rash on skin, or discolouration of fingers or toes
Red or irritated eyes
Please do not come into the practice if you are experiencing any of these symptoms. Call reception to organise an alternative or reschedule your appointment.
WHEN YOU ARRIVE?
ON ARRIVAL FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT, PLEASE REMAIN IN YOUR CAR AND TEXT RECEPTION ON 022 6794515 TO LET US KNOW YOU HAVE ARRIVED, OR PH 095246249. ALL PATIENTS ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR A SURGICAL MASK WHEN ENTERING THE SURGERY.
Extended consults are required for employment medicals, immigration medicals, minor surgical procedures and well person checks (i.e. ‘Well Woman’ and ‘Well Man’ checks), or other full medical checks. Please call reception to book these.
If you or a member of your family is acutely unwell and in need of urgent treatment, please inform the receptionist and ask to be transferred to a nurse. The nurse will assess the degree of urgency and arrange for you to be seen accordingly.
Make the most of your consult:
A standard consultation is 15minutes, a longer appointment time is required if you have a list of several problems to sort out or if more than one family member is to be seen.
